Exchange Student

My exchange student from last year, Nik, just left to go back to Germany after a 2 week visit.  We tried to visit places he had not seen while here the last time.  He is really interested in History, so we were able to go to La Bahia in Goliad and the Fannin Memorial. We also went to Schlitterbahn.  My girls this year, Lena from Japan and Toffy from Thailand went with us.  I was also able to make all of his favorite foods while he was here:  enchiladas, goulash ,and taco ring.  Since school started right after he arrived, we did not get to do any major traveling, though we stayed busy.  We are really going to miss him!! :(
