Christmas Card

I love to make Christmas cards...mainly because I love everything about Christmas.  To make the poinsettia for my card I stamped and embossed with CTMH white embossing powder two different leaves several times.  Next, I cut each leaf and using a sponge dauber lightly went over each leaf with CTMH Clover Meadow.  One of the leaves is from the CTMH Rose Garden stamp set and the other from the CTMH Fall Leaves.  The card base is from The Paper Studio, Greetings from the Season.  The leaves are arranged with adhesive on the first layer and foam tape on the second layer.  To finish, white adhesive backed pearls are placed in the center of the flower.  The sentiment and butterfly are from CTMH stamp sets and were embossed with CTMH red embossing powder.  The sentiment is cut out with a Spellbinder's nestabilities die set.

  5. Saw this on MIM Stephanie, it looked different so I thought I would have a closer look.....By the way my name is Susan from NZ.... and I am so impressed by your colour choice, I have seen Poinsettias in this muted palette and it does work, it makes a change from the reds, it is a beautiful Christmas card.
