My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge

This card is for My Creative Time Challenge which requires the colors red, blue, and brown, it is also supposed to be an "outside the box" kind of card.  After reading the challenge, I mulled over it for a while and somehow in a conversation with my husband, "Rubik's Cube" came up and a light bulb went off in my head!! As soon as we got home I headed to my craft room and started figuring out how to make a Rubik's cube.  Just FYI, the color I used for the top diamond is a Bright RED, even though it looks orange in the picture. Well, my measurements for the square are 2 x 2 and the diamond shapes are 2 x 1.75. The tiny squares are approximately 3/8" x 3/8", although as you can see, I did not cut these too straight.  The tiny diamond shapes are approximately 3/8" x 5/16", again not too straight.  I did add other colors of green and white, but I felt I needed it to be as close as I could to make a cube.  The stamped image is from Scrappy Cat, "Travel Phrases" and if you can't read it from the picture it says "Times to Remember" with "Memories" in the center. I felt the circles contrasted the large cubed shape. I hope this card brings laughter to those who "Remember when..."
